interview a Cyberman

Hello Whovians. Today we have the current Cyberleader, and I'll admit the Doctor looks a little bit uncomfortable, so we're doing this outside. But I really wanted to get inside the brain of one of the Doctor's oldest enemies, and I really didn't want to go with the Daleks those guns are dangerous! So instead we chose the current cyberleader, and I'm going to interview him on the life of a cyberman. 

Bookworm: So Cyberleader I'd offer you some refreshments but...well I think it's fairly obvious why not. So would you like a plug in or something?

Cyberleader: DELETE 

Bookworm: Yeah no, the Doctor made sure there would be none of that. But you can answer my questions. 

Cyberleader: you will be upgraded. 

Bookworm: yeah well you know I don't want too. Now what does a Cyberman do for fun?

Cyberleader: We assimilate.

Bookworm: and when you don't?

Cyberleader: we play chess.

Bookworm: Really? I didn't see that coming. What else?

Cyberleader: We have parties and dance.

Bookworm: Okay so they do say you learn something new everyday. But onward and upwards. What exactly do the Cybermen want?

Cyber leader: We seek to assimilate the humans, they will be like us. 

Bookworm: alright then I think I already got an answer like that... but anyway. Do you have any dreams Cyberleader? Because all great leaders have dreams.

Cyberleader: I dream for you all to become like us, I also want to be a my little pony. 

Bookworm: Okaaaaayyyyy? Well we all have dreams. But what are your feelings on the Daleks?

Cyberleader: They are pretentious and arrogant, pair all of that with the fact that they have no sense of elegance the Cybermen are far superior.

Bookworm: Alright will keep that in mind, don't invite both of you to the party. So can you tell me? Are the Cybermats like a pet or something?

Cyberleader: No they are advanced guards. But I do keep mine close at night

Bookworm: okay so they're kind of like dogs. Next where can I get a Cybermat? they're kind of cute.

Cyberleader: You cannot have one.

Bookworm: well fine be that way. What is it like being a Cyberleader? I mean how does it feel to be higher than all of the other Cybermen?

Cyberleader: I do not feel. But if I could it would be as you say awesome.

Bookworm: Yeah I can kind of figure. So what's a day in the life of a Cyberman like?

Cyberleader: well it goes a bit like this

Upgrade another

Upgrade someone else

now I'm dead

Bookworm: Okay well I guess that's the end of that. DOCTOR THE CYBERLEADER EXPLODED!

Well I'll see you tomorrow but me and the Doctor have to clean up this mess

Doctor: Nah I don't think so you wanted the Cyberman

Bookworm: Really? C'mon Doctor help me clean this up

Doctor: Nope

*sudden explosion*

Eleventh Doctor: Hi 

Bookworm: WHAT DID YOU DO?

Eleventh Doctor: well I was walking along, and I found this crate of dynamite, and the plunger thing that makes things go WHOOOM, and my whole brain just went what the hell

Bookworm: alright then both of you clean this up. I'm going to the library

From one Whovian to another: Loup Dargent

Hello Whovians today we are joined on the TARDIS by UK Whovian Loup Dargent. 

Welcoming Loup on board, we offered him some Jammie Dodgers and tea, Eleven refused to make fish custard because of the two previous refusals and promptly stormed out of the TARDIS leaving me and Ten to host Loup for the day, after Loups initial reaction of shock and awe, mentioning that it really was bigger on the inside, we sat down in the library and got down to business.

  

Bookworm: alright let's kick this off with the question, what is your earliest Doctor Who memory?

Loup Dargent: If we don't count the fact that, in the 80s, not long after I moved to the Uk from France, one of my friends was told he looked like the 4th Doctor (Tom Baker) by someone on the bus (I didn't know anything about Doctor Who, unfortunately, as it was not shown on the French TV channels in those days), it will have to be the TV movie with the 8th Doctor(Paul McGann). Shame that it didn't get the approval of the Doctor Who's fans then. If I remember well, they thought it was too americanised.

Bookworm: When did you first realize that you yourself were a Whovian?

Loup Dargent: Definitely after the first episode with Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) and the 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston).

            

Bookworm: What incarnation of the Time Lord, is your favorite?

Loup Dargent: I do like all of them, but the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) would be my favourite one if I had to choose.

Bookworm: What makes that Doctor so memorable?

Loup Dargent: Probably because my kids and I were watching the show together at the time... Watching Doctor Who together became like a family tradition after that.

Bookworm: Which of the Doctor's TARDIS' would you say was by far the best?

Loup Dargent: The Ninth Doctor's one... It was brilliant as "Bad Wolf".

Bookworm: Who is your favorite companion of the Doctor?

Loup Dargent: Probably Rose Tyler...

Bookworm: Which companion would you like to see return to the show, from the past?

Loup Dargent: I was very happy that Sarah Jane Smith came back and had her own show... But, now that, sadly, Elisabeth Sladen has passed away, I suppose I would like Jo Grant to come back. She was in two episodes of the Sarah Jane's Adventures, and I was quite impressed. I believe she could carry on Sarah Jane's work... 

Bookworm: What is your favorite episode of all time?

Loup Dargent: It was a Christmas episode, I think... "The Next Doctor" with David Tennant and David Morrissey.

Bookworm: Which monster that the Doctor has faced in the past, would you say was the best?

Loup Dargent: The Cybermen... I believe the Borg in Star Trek were influenced by them (allegedly, of course.)

Bookworm: and which one would you call the most terrifying monster that the Doctor has ever faced?

Loup Dargent: It will have to be the Weeping Angels...

Bookworm: and while we are still on that subject, which monster would you consider the most ridiculous monster you have ever seen?


Loup Dargent: The Daleks were kind of ridiculous, I suppose, with their plunger and all that... especially in the days when they were not able to climb stairs.

Bookworm: Which of the classic monsters that we haven't already seen return would you want to see return to the show?

Loup Dargent: All of them, really... they should all deserve a second chance.

Bookworm: If you got the chance to meet any actor/actress from the new or old series, which would you choose?

Loup Dargent: Billie Piper!

Bookworm: If you were told that you could have anything from the Doctor Who set, that wasn't a living person, or thing. What would you take?

Loup Dargent: One of the sonic screwdrivers used by the Doctors would be cool to have...

Today we are joined on the TARDIS by Classic Whovian and my father Allen. he walked in and mentioned that he prefered the old TARDIS and sat down. We offered him some jelly babies, and fish custard. He took the jelly babies, which is really starting to infuriate Eleven as he made the fish custard himself.

Allen the classic whovian: 1980 I remember a friend telling me about a show on PBS and turning it on to see a man with a long scarf running around offering jelly babies to people

Allen the classic whovian: when I found that I wanted to find out more about who the doctor was

1. the doctor winds up on a planet with a picture of one of his other incarnations on a cliff face and he goes to investigate
2. Bakers last episode where he regenerates made regeneration believable

Bookworm: and which one would you call the most terrifying monster that the Doctor has ever faced?

Allen the classic whovian: The Master

Bookworm: and while we are still on that subject, which monster would you consider the most ridiculous monster you have ever seen?

Allen the classic whovian: the giant insect one

Bookworm: If you got the chance to meet any actor/actress from the new or old series, which would you choose?

Allen the classic whovian: the Newest Doctor Matt Smith
