                                                                  Delirium
                                                              Lauren Oliver
About the book:
Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing.

They didn’t understand that once love -- the deliria -- blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the government demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.

But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.

The review:
For me one of the many signs of a good book is how fast I can read it in this case I finished it in less than two days two days chock full of thrills. Delirium follows the character Lena on her journey to getting cured of love. But little does she know one boy will change everything.
This is a fast pace story of forbidden love (in a much bigger way than has ever been seen before).
Lauren Oliver has created wonderful characters in a less than wonderful world. Where people are arrested just for feeling and are essentially lobotomized the moment you turn 18. This book draws you into the lives of the characters and makes you feel like your there experiencing the events like your becoming hopelessly infected.  I loved this book and everything about it I would recommend it to any number of people. If you love dystopian tales I encourage you to pick this book up. Go ahead even if it’s a disease it’s a wonderful
So go ahead get infected I dare you.
